Itinerary Details

Day 1: ARRIVE AHMEDABAD BY AIR OR TRAIN

Meeting and greeting on arrival and transfer to hotel. Later sightseeing of Ahmedabad visiting Gandhi Ashram, Hateesingh Jain Temple, Sidi Syed Mosque, Jama Masjid, Adalaj Stepwell. Evening visit Akshardham Temple with laser show. Overnight at hotel. Ahmedabad was founded by Sultan Ahmad Shah in the year 1411 A.D with blessings of his spiritual adviser Shaikh Ahmad Khattu Ganj Baksha of Sarkhej at the site of an old town of Ashawal and Karnavati. Ahmedabad grew in wealth and splendour for a hundred years and became the centre of skilled craftsmen and merchants.

Day 2: AHMEDABAD / DWARKA BY SURFACE (440 KMS. APPROX 7 & ½ HOURS DRIVE)

After morning breakfast at hotel, later drive to Dwarka. On arrival check into hotel. Evening visit Aarti at Dwarkadish Temple. Overnight at hotel. Dwarka is one of the four holiest pilgrimage sites and main centre of the Krishna legend. It's said that Lord Krishna set his capital in Dwarka with entire Yaduvanshi clan after his flight from Mathura. Archaeological excavations show that present day Dwarka is the 6th city on this site, the earlier five having been submerged in the sea.

Day 3: DWARKA / BET DWARKA / NAGESHWAR JYOTIRLINGA / DWARKA

Breakfast at Hotel. Morning again visit Dwarkadish Temple. Later full day excursion to Bet Dwarka & Nageshwar Jyotirlinga. Evening back to Dwarka (optional visit aarti at Dwarka Temple). Overnight at hotel. Bet Dwarka is located 30 km north of Dwarka on an island in the middle of the Arabian Sea. It takes twenty minutes by boat to reach the island. Nageshwar Jyotirlinga is situated in the outskirts of Dwarka, one of the prominent Shiva shrines in India.

Day 4: DWARKA / PORBANDAR / SOMNATH BY SURFACE (234 KMS. APPROX 4 – 5 HOURS DRIVE)

After morning breakfast at hotel, later drive to Somnath enroute visiting Porbandar. On arrival check into hotel. Evening visit Aarti at Somnath Temple. Overnight at hotel. Somnath is one of the 12 jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. The shore temple of Somnath is believed to have been built in 4 phases - in gold by Lord Soma, in silver by Ravi, in wood by Lord Krishna and in stone by Bhima Deva.

Day 5: SOMNATH / SASAN GIR / JUNAGADH / AHMEDABAD BY SURFACE (APPROX 390 KMS. 6 – 7 HOURS DRIVE)

Today, morning take breakfast & later check out from the hotel & proceed. En route, you can explore the majestic Gir National Park or visit historical sites in Junagadh. Later drive back to Ahmedabad for your onward journey. Tour concludes with divine blessings and beautiful memories.
